Description

A delicious beef stir-fry with a variety of vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef sirloin (sliced into thin strips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 150 grams green beans (trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Prepare the vegetables by slicing the onion, bell pepper, and carrots, and trimming the green beans.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add the bell pepper, carrots, and green beans to the skillet, cooking for another 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  8. Return the beef to the skillet, add the soy sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
