Description

These Fluffy Nutella Bombs are a delightful treat filled with creamy Nutella, perfect for any dessert lover!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough – In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
  2. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8–10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. I always enjoy this part—it feels like the moment when simple ingredients begin turning into something special.
  3. Let the Dough Rise – Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size. Watching the dough slowly puff up is one of the small joys of baking.
  4. Shape the Bombs – Once the dough has risen, divide it into small equal pieces. Flatten each piece into a small circle.
  5. Place about a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, then carefully fold the dough around the filling and seal the edges tightly. Roll gently into a ball.
  6. Second Rise – Place the filled dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover lightly and let them rest for another 20–30 minutes.
  7. Bake – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the Fluffy Nutella Bombs for about 12–15 minutes or until they turn lightly golden.
  8. Finish and Serve – Allow them to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. When you break one open, the soft dough and melted Nutella center make every bite irresistible.

Notes

  • These are best served warm for a gooey center experience.
  • Experiment with different fillings like peanut butter or chocolate chips!
