Description
This baked salmon recipe coated in a sweet and zesty honey lime sauce is a perfect quick meal for any night.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 lb. large salmon fillet
- 6 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
- Drizzle of Sriracha sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Line a large baking sheet with foil, then place another sheet of foil on top and lightly coat with nonstick spray. Lay the salmon on top of the foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lime juice, honey, garlic, and chopped cilantro. Pour this mixture over the salmon, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Fold the edges of the foil around the salmon and cover it with another piece of foil, creating a sealed tent.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then remove the top foil and set the oven to broil. Broil the salmon for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the top is golden and caramelized.
- Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with extra cilantro, lime slices, and a drizzle of Sriracha, if you like a bit of heat.
Notes
- Make sure to adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillet.
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for an hour before baking.
