Description
Deliciously rich brownies layered with a sweet cream cheese mixture and crushed Oreos, perfect for any dessert lover.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus more for topping)
Instructions
- Melt butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Whisk in granulated and brown sugars, then let the mixture cool slightly.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a bowl. Fold into the wet mixture gently.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour two-thirds of the brownie batter into a lined 9×9 pan and spread evenly.
- Layer the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and smooth it out.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife.
- Sprinkle extra crushed Oreos or whole mini Oreos on top for garnish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes until the edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool for 1 hour at room temperature, then refrigerate for another hour before slicing.
Notes
- This recipe can be made a day in advance and refrigerated.
- For extra chocolate flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
