- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust by following the package instructions or use your favorite homemade recipe.
- Bake the crust at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.
- Mix together ricotta, mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and optional cinnamon in a large bowl until smooth.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and orange zest gently until evenly distributed.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow it to set.
- Garnish the pie with extra chocolate chips before serving.
