Description

Delicious chocolate sprinkle cookies that are easy to make and fun to eat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix (I used Pillsbury devil’s food cake mix, 15 oz. box)
  • 2 Eggs (Large, Room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Sprinkles
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips (Semisweet, Melted)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, oil, vanilla extract and baking powder until thoroughly combined.
  2. Chill this mixture in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  3. Scoop out small portions of the dough and form little balls.
  4. Place them on a cookie tray, lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm but center is slightly soft.
  6. When the cookies cool down completely, dip half of each cookie in a bowl of melted chocolate and place them on a tray, lined with wax paper.
  7. Toss some sprinkles before the chocolate has a chance to harden.
  8. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Chilling the dough helps the cookies maintain their shape while baking.
  • Try using different types of sprinkles for a festive look.
