Description

Delicious homemade chocolate brownies that are rich and fudgy.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (dark)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder along with vanilla extract, stirring until no lumps remain.
  5. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly sticky. Let cool before cutting into squares.
