Delicious homemade chocolate brownies that are rich and fudgy.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (dark)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder along with vanilla extract, stirring until no lumps remain.
- Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Fold in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly sticky. Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For best results, use room temperature ingredients.
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
