Description

This creamy Tuscan chicken recipe combines tender chicken breasts with a luscious sauce made of heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and fresh spinach for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce, and simmer together for an additional minute.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with freshly grated Parmesan and fresh basil.
